If you are an amateur winemaker and would love to grow you own grapes and make wine, this is for you and only about an hour's drive north of Sydney. Eraring Vineyard is a 0.6Ha (1.5 acre) property at West Lake Macquarie, NSW and a minute's walk from the lake. Currently it has 100 vines (previously 400) more than 10 years old, mainly chardonnay and semillon but also chambourcin and a few merlot, and durif (recently grafted).
